Wow, what a semester it has been in COMM 316! I’ve learned so much and I really feel like I have discovered my personal style. I have loved learning all kinds of different photography, I’ve learned that I love portraiture and product/food photography the most. I think I really like having one subject to focus on, and also being able to use a more shallow depth of field. I LOVE bokeh. It just really makes me happy. My style isn’t too extreme, I love letting things have a more natural and earthy look for the most part. I am so excited to continue to build this portfolio up with all my new skills and discoveries!

Ahhh! Rachel! I LOVE your photo of the Scripps Pier. The long exposure is AMAZING! One thing I love about your work is that the depth of field is always perfect. It’s always fitting to whatever shot your getting. I think that takes such skill. Great work this past semester!
