Movie poster
This was such a fun project, and it surprisingly didn’t take me too long. I started out by setting up my camera on the tripod with a flash. I positioned the flash so that it would produce the split lighting we have here. Afterwards, I simply looked for a movie poster that I could mimic with my picture. Although the original “Salt’ movie poster has Angelina Jolie with more of butterfly lighting, I thought I could still pull it off and have it look good. I actually traced the word salt in illustrator, brought it into photoshop and then I put an overlay on it. I downloaded the fonts from either google fonts, or from dafont.. The image used was my own original image.
