Product photography is one of my favorites. The reason why is because you get to control the subject. You can really do anything to it to enhance it’s appeal.
For this product photo I used flash lights to light paint. You can get this effect by having a long exposure and flashing the light on the areas you want emphasized.
For both of these products I used auxiliary lighting. I placed them on a white sheet with continuous lighting over head.
I was able to get creative with this photo as well. I put the monster on this pink blanket and then I had a friend hold it up so that it created the pink back drop.
Great job on these, they turned out so good! I especially love your picture of the watch, it is so crisp and looks very professional. Check out my website! http://janae.harkermedia.com/2016/11/13/lighting-for-product-photography/
Rachel, great work on these photos! Commercial photography can be so beneficial and you did a fantastic job. I love your shoe picture; the contrast is amazing, it looks like it could be in a magazine.
